Understand the policy
We review relevant coverage, endorsements, exclusions, limits, deductibles, and claim conditions—and explain the questions that need answers.
Your property. Your policy. Your advocate. The insurance company has claim professionals. You should too. UCAG reviews the policy, documents the loss, and advocates for the full covered value of your claim.
You do not have to accept an estimate or explanation you do not understand. Ask questions. Ask what supports the decision. UCAG connects what happened, what was affected, what the policy covers, and the evidence behind your claim, so you can make informed decisions with an advocate beside you.
We review relevant coverage, endorsements, exclusions, limits, deductibles, and claim conditions—and explain the questions that need answers.
We organize photographs, measurements, inventories, and inspection findings, looking beyond the most obvious damage without assuming every condition has the same cause.
We evaluate repair scope and costs and support disputed items with relevant documentation. The evidence behind the request matters.
We communicate with the insurer, respond to questions, and address disputed scope and value while helping you understand the next steps.
UCAG serves as your representative and primary point of contact for routine claim communications. We ask the carrier to coordinate through us, handle follow-ups, and explain policy language so you are not left sorting through unfamiliar terms and conflicting messages alone.
We organize questions, explain requests, and keep you informed. When the insurer needs your direct participation or a policy duty requires your response, we help you understand what is needed.
At each key decision point, we present the facts, explain your options, and share our recommendation. You make the decision. We keep you informed and put your interests first.
Your interests guide our work. We focus on documenting what your home or business needs and pursuing the benefits owed under your policy, so you can concentrate on getting life back on track.
We handle the claim, not the construction. Hiring UCAG does not require you to hire a particular roofer or repair company. Applicable policy repair provisions and lender requirements still apply.
We work for you to document, present, and negotiate the claim money owed under your policy. We handle the claim, not the construction. Hiring UCAG does not tie you to a roofer or repair company.
Have UCAG Review My Claim →An employee of the insurance company who handles your claim under the carrier’s direction and represents its interests. They are not your personal advocate.
An outside adjuster handling the claim on the insurer’s behalf. “Independent” does not mean the policyholder’s representative.
Your contractor estimates and performs the repairs. UCAG handles public-adjuster representation, not construction, and does not require you to hire a particular contractor. A repair contract alone does not authorize public-adjuster representation.
Most property claims do not require an attorney. Start with UCAG for a complimentary claim review. We focus on documenting, presenting, and negotiating your claim. If a legal issue arises, we work closely with your attorney. Legal advice and litigation remain the attorney’s role.
Appraisal and umpire assignments are separate services. When UCAG serves as an umpire, we act impartially rather than advocating for either side. Explore these services →
Review the documented damage, the policy, and the disputed estimate together. A percentage from another group of claims does not determine your recovery.
Explore historical research in our Florida resources →UCAG combines insurance-claim experience with detailed loss documentation and direct policyholder representation.
Our team brings years of hands-on insurance-claim experience from both the carrier and policyholder sides. We understand how insurers evaluate losses and use that knowledge to document damage, prepare supported claims, and advocate for the policyholder.
Photos, measurements, estimates, receipts and policy language give the discussion substance. We organize the evidence so disputed items can be addressed clearly.
You should be able to focus on your household or business while your claim gets professional attention. We handle claim preparation and negotiation within our role as public adjusters.
Our results page includes redacted documents for selected reopened claims and explains the original payments and additional money recovered. Every case is different.

The repair estimate exceeds the payment. Rooms or materials are missing from the scope. The denial does not match what you understand happened. Or the claim is consuming time you need for your recovery.
Bring the policy, insurer’s estimate, payment or denial letters, and any photos or repair estimates you already have. UCAG will review a new, underpaid, denied or closed claim and discuss whether representation makes sense, subject to applicable deadlines.
Let’s Review My Claim →No one can promise a specific settlement or percentage increase. Our job is to pursue the covered recovery supported by your loss, policy and evidence. No study or past result predicts your individual claim outcome.
Our public-adjusting fee applies to claim payments received after the date of our signed agreement, according to its terms and applicable requirements. We do not charge a public-adjusting fee on Additional Living Expense (ALE) payments. Your agreement explains the fee percentage and how it applies to your claim.
Yes. Every property claim is worth a review. UCAG offers a complimentary consultation to look at your situation, answer questions, and explain the next steps.
